We focus on collecting not only endangered, high-risk exotic Psilocybe spores. We also focus on collecting as many wild specimens and cultures as we can, when we find them outside. We harvest from oddities such as Gymnoplis, Morchella , Agarikon, all the way to much more common polypore's, such as Fomes Fomentarius, Hericum Erinaceus (lions' mane), Red belted birch and much more.
At MycoholicsAnonymous, we go above and beyond the average spore company by providing much more than just spore specimens for fellow mycological enthusiasts. We aim to produce and harvest enough wild, undomesticated spores and cultures in hopes that we the community can make leaps and bounds beyond indoor cultivation and inoculate wild cultures outdoors. Our mission is to help aid our local woods by getting more culture variety into the hands of citizen scientist. We hope by providing more wild cultures and spores that people will feel more inclined to experiment with in the community to help make leaps and bounds for the mycology community around the world.
Our History
Founded in 2022, Ravalli County, Montana. We have picked from as far as great falls Montana as far as Pacific city Oregon. We have been picking in washing, and Idaho. In pursuit of fungal meaning and always working on culture cleaning. We put in the miles and the years to learn as much and continue to grow as much as possible. We aim to have at least 10 of the transcontinental Morchella spores and we plan to get them gene sequenced by 2 different labs here in the united states before we culture and offer them on our site. We strive to have the most unique wood lover psilocybe spores on our site. Our #1 is to stand out among other vendors by informing you which species are true strains and which "strains" are variants and not original land race psilocybe genetics. we hope to get more people back in touch with what the real strains are verses all the new age hype labeled lab grown genetics.
